In the era of corporate media, discriminatory globalization, “anti-terrorism” legislations, and infringements on civil rights, the need for media offering an alternative perspective to the biased, stereotyping and hate and war-promoting coverage has become increasingly urgent and essential to preserving freedom of expression and civil liberties. 

 Our mission:

Alternative Perspective Media is a non-profit media publication whose mission is to provide its readers with an alternative coverage of a wide range of issues from local civil rights and politics to national and international issues.

  • First publication:            4 days after September 11 attacks

·        Second publication:       July 2002: special edition on human rights violations and Israeli atrocities

·        Third publication:          September 2002 on the first anniversary of the 9-11 attack; special edition on “anti-terrorism” war and its  impacts on civil rights and citizens’ freedoms around the world.
